Never having been to Italy, my fondness of the country and by extension its culture probably starts from Italian food.
Image 1: Crisscross canal, rippling water, cruising gondola with buzzing crowd and strawhat gondolia, one stroke after another, paddles stirring ripples, leaving a grandeur trace but then gradually fading into status quo.
Image 2: Fancy dining hall permeated with mellow yellow light, round table with speckless white table cloth, big round plate meticulously presents the holy grail of Italian taste, Spaghetti Carbonara, glassy pasta generously coated with luscious velvety custardy sauce, echo with the ambient lighting, plated in a perfect pyramid mound.

1Due to the absence of the guests, this 3 Course becomes our 3 meals for the day, Venice Gondola for lunch, Cabonaro for dinner and Chocolate Bombe on waffle for the next day breakfast. That's why they are full size as shown above. Despite missing friends to share, the Italian vibe brings back some good old memories.
